GKS 2026: The Complete Guide to a Fully-Funded Education in Korea
Every year, the Korean government awards the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) to international students, covering full tuition, round-trip airfare, a monthly stipend of roughly $1,000, and medical insurance. For Nepali students, it is the single most rewarding route to a world-class Korean degree.
Who can apply
Applicants must be under 24 (undergraduate) or under 40 (postgraduate), hold a GPA around 80% or above, and have a TOPIK or English score as required by the track. You apply through either the university track or the embassy track, and we help you choose the one that plays to your strengths.
How to stand out
The scholarship is about potential, not just grades. A sharp study plan, a genuine personal statement, and strong letters of recommendation carry enormous weight. Our advisers have prepared hundreds of GKS files and know exactly what reviewers look for.
